Thanks for agreeing to play in Season 3 of The Genius ORG!
This board is only for you to see. This is where I will post questions as well as for you to post your private thoughts on the game, the players or the matches.
1) What is the main reason for you in signing up of the game?
2) Do you feel confident in being able to perform well in the game?
3) Have you read the previous seasons and do you have any expectations coming into the game?
4) Do you have any thoughts about the other players so far?
5) What is your main strategy coming into this game?

Hiii!!! Mas! thanks for having me!
Just a quick question, would the stuff posted here be open for the rest of the players to see? Like in the form of recap?
1. The main reason I want to sign up for this game is that I want to give this kind of games a shot. I have never really tried such strategy games before and I really liked it since I was young. Personally, I wanted to dabble a little with game design and would like to host a similar game offline but of a smaller scale. It was also a far-fetch fantasy for me to start a TV show like this where I am the EP and get to try ideas like how Jeff Probst does it on survivor. Despite all these, I really just want to put my skills to the test and have fun, to see how I fare with similar like-minded people.
2. Honestly, I don't. I consider myself smart in the sense that I could learn something fast, but I dont think I am someone who can think out of the box to come up with genius like solutions, which is the quality needed in this game. I just hope that I don't overplay my hand and create a huge target on myself. I dread being the first person out of this game. I have been running things in my head which I have no idea how everything would turn out in reality, I just hope everything I wanted to plan go on smoothly and not get blindsided out of nowhere. And oh... i think I would suck at a lot of deathmatches, especially betting ones. Despite having a logical brain, sadly, I dont use it well enough sometimes as i usually think too much emotionally (Think KyungHoon S3 and S4 E1-3, but not as smart)
3. I only took a glace through previous seasons to see how the game is run, but not into the details, perhaps I would spend some time to look through the forums when I am free to get a better idea. Especially there are at least 2 returning players in the game, I could at least prepare myself for them and what they could bring to the table.
4. I read through the profiles of the players, and seems like everyone is pretty smart (I guess its expected of people playing this game). But well, some of their bios are too short for me to understand them well enough and what are their strengths. It felt like there are some people who I think I might click well with (Lukas,Trevor, Jay) and Tom seems like a pretty funny guy to hang around if he's that good at coming up with one-liners. But definitely, I am keeping on eye on Lukas, they called him child prodigy (no one called me that before!! *salty), he must be pretty damn good and he's pretty vocal too. So I guess he'll be a huge presence in the game.
5. My main strategy is to not be the first person out of this game, stay out of death matches as much as possible. Find a couple of people who I think I can trust (prefably someone who could call the shots and make good decisions, that will allow me to go under the radar and put a target on them), and go all the way with them. Also, I want to try to make genuine connections with everyone, even from small talks with everyone, I want to know a little bit more about others, and let others know a little bit more about me, on a personal basis, since I would love to make some friends here as well. Hopefully, I could get one everyone's good side and allow me to slide forward. Maybe the individual chat rooms between me and everyone would be full of non-game related small talk? hahaha....
With that being said, what I intend to do in the first Main Match is to understand where people is at in the game, personally, I would like to use Lukas as a gauge, since he would be a huge presence, I want to use him to divide the group into 2, one is pro-Lukas, and the other Anti-Lukas. Then I'll pick a side which I have more people whom I like. (Of course, I will not actively campaign for or against him 'cos that will put a target on me.)
Thats a really long post, and as you can see, Im pretty excited to play and interact with the rest, not sure how exactly I will perform in the game but Im pretty excited to learn more about what I can do as well! Thanks for all the effort and I hope you could have a great time hosting and all 14 of us would enjoy this!

Hey Ethynol! Thanks for the lengthy answers. This usually is a good gauge for me to know how invested people are in the game, at least for the early part, as well as knowing their activeness in the game.
I didn't do any recaps for the past 2 seasons. I'm assuming you get that from the Reddit game? haha. if there's enough insight from the players, I might do it but prob I will do it like the actual show so prob after Round 6 or so? No promises though.

I hope I have the time to continue with such posts, which I think I do, 'cos my exams are over in a few days and I'll have a pretty long break! So I guess I'm good to go.
Ahhh I see! I was just wondering 'cos in game secrets may be divulged. I'll be excited for any post season recap as well. Should be interesting!

Thanks alot! Hope having some pre-game alliance would work in my favor and does not backfire if I try to make too many connections

Now that I have started to get discussions going, heres some new insight. Dang the game is so complex, there's so many layers of people working around, and I believe there are countless more conversations going on elsewhere, I dont even know how to track them to begin with. I am still not sure connecting with too many people at the start is good or bad for me. It seemed like there are two differing groups, Lukas wanted a smaller trusted group, while Rexxy and Arnold wanted something involving more people. Both of them has it's pros and cons, for me, I just want to survive, so I dont know which one to go with. And I beleive there is still a large number I have yet talked to, and I have no idea where they are at for this game. But im afraid if I talked to too many people, it may backfire on me, especially in this game, where actions are done in public, so people can figure out who youre working with. But I am also concerned that if I talked to too little people, they might target me for the deathmatches. No wonder this game is so hard hahahhahahaha. For now I am just gonna trust Arnold moving forward (since we clicked and he wanted me to be his ride or die), and stay close to Rexxy and Joshua for our potential South East Asia (SEA) Alliance (Asians working together for this game isnt considered racist right?? ), and Im gonna keep Lukas close to me, he seemed like a good sunbae, but I dont know how many connections he is trying to establish and ultimately whether I will be part of his group.
