Sorry you didn't gain a garnet. I did help Plat get a garnet for round 2 by adding $5 along with Rexxy.
Main Match #3 - My pitch as joint winners was to target Lukas for DM. Told Arnold this. However, Ethy pointed out that you, Arnold, Merriska, and Plat were a group and were consistently placing same food together, and wanted to break you up as a core group. Joshua wanted to target Merriska as well because he felt she was an "easy" opponent.
My recommendation is to target Lukas or Joshua for DM. I helped Plat out this MM, and i'm going to help you out this DM.
If you do calculations round 1 and round 3 it should be Joshua/Lukas swindling the food group, based on money calculations total, though I don't know what you bid. Lukas did not win majority of the fish rounds, except when he was in round 1 eel is my guess

Alright, I'm going to go ahead and trust you on this one. I picked Lukas.
Please do help me in this if its an all participation game.

Alright, will do my best to help you. If its not a participation group game, we can think of strategies.
I did give a strategy for Merriska for her death match against Joshua. She unfortunately miscounted her 1 and forgot.

This deathmatch is a doozy . They played this in season 2 forum : thegeniusorgonline.proboards.com/thread/283/finals-match-2You can also check Tomcat's & Nyx's confessionals to get of an idea of how they played as well on this match. I will just read this whole thing to get a better understanding of the game, and see what I can come up with. **Update** Here's a video that is based off of: The only difference is there is no collapse in this forum game. Its good visually to see how its played out. When Nyx played against TomCat, she stated that Criminal may have the advantage in this game. The pros of being investigator is having more information than the crimininal since he has 4 cards, so investigator seeing the killings, can get a sense of where the criminal vaguely may be. The pros of criminal is throwing investigator off with disguise. The luck element is that with disguise, the criminal may have killed them by chance, otherwise, it could throw investigator off. Have to plan out both character type, since the leading player is chosen randomly.

Strategy 1(IF Lukas is killer): If he disguises, counter by exonerating. The killer win condition is either investigator dead, or 16 killed. If he thinks of strategy where he disguises too many times to throw you off - by exonerating, you reduce the kill count, where it may be impossible to kill 16 people. Investigator having the information of 3 cards and his investigator role card, it can really narrow down the Killer's role.
Also just realize the Inspector's disadvantage - Being adjacent to the suspect in order to "Arrest" the suspect to win the game. So rarely should you consider arrest, since you can't disguise, it' narrows your investigator card for the killer to deduce. Use exonerate and shift. When you exonerate a suspect, if the killing is near the exoneratet, shift the exonerate towards him if possible. Mostly use exonerate to just narrow down suspects. Arrest with extreme cautious when you narrow down the suspects. Just know you have 3 cards in your hand that the killer wouldn't know, so that information will help.
Strategy 2(If you're the killer): Kills mostly since its hard to deduce early game, and if your pattern can be seen by Lukas or just narrowed down by about 2-3 suspects after killings, that is when you disguise. There is a luck element in that you may not get t disguise if you killed the person drawn. Remember the killer has two win conditions - inspector killed or 16 killed. Killer can avoid the inspector throughout the game, just as long as you can kill 16 people, you win. Killing inspector is a bonus if you can deduce it, if he goes for arrest. If he arrests prematurely, it really narrows what investigator card role he has.
I think Killer does have an overall advantage in this game. Lukas might think the same. Randoml first pick though.
Also not sure what happens if you exonerate someone that is already dead. I guess its discarded. Just as investigator, if you draw a dead character, exonerate to discard since its not information needed.

Thanks for the info. Killer definitely seems to have the advantage here. I found a place to do practice plays so I think I'll do that for awhile.
