3) What did you think of Arnold's choice of Henry and him ending up with the convict card?
4) Were you surprised at Henry showing up at the last minute?

1) Yes. I thought Arnold will gain more points than the rest of us, with having convict card, and may have official trade it. Lukas made a deal apparently to take it for +3points and a garnet.
2) Sad for Henry. I did my pre-game thoughts, that I would reach out to him and empathized with him on being the first out. Had he just be only active during MM. Glad Arnold stayed though, because he took the risk of going DM since Merriska didn't want too.
3)I think it was the correct decision. Henry being inactive, Arnold was lead to believe that Henry may not respond and he'd move on automatically. I think consensus from people were going to choose Henry.
4) Yes, very shocked. Deadline was near, and he just popped out of nowhere. I was shocked
5) I think it'll be fun. Might be a bit brutal, since its all about survival, so the preys have to stay cautious on rooms. The only animal I was concern was Eagle, and peeking at Tom and knowing he's eagle, scares me.
6) I wanted to be either Hyena or Snake. With Hyena, i'd eat very quickly before the Lion targets me. I would get the preys as many as possible so the Lion can starve on round 3 or 4. With Snake, I could work solo and mind my own business.
7) They're two ways I can do this MM - worked with the 2 other preys if I find their identity so I can be immune, or wait for the Eagle to be eaten by the Alligator or Lion. If Tom is killed, then i'll probably stay at sky for the duration of the game. If not, I have to know if he'll start off as sky location or other and avoid,

Round 2

1) I think because I work up early, I was able to strategize right away compared to others. I really overall enjoyed the Main Match. It was tense with the predators roaming around. If Tom had stayed in Sky for round 2, i'm pretty sure I would have lost. I think that was his biggest mistake in the main match. Since he was alone as the eagle, he would have figured the other birds would returned to the habitat, and he could have ate one of us.
2) I think the initial rules were ok. I think I was the one who brought up multiple attacks, but that really only benefits the Hyena out of the predators, and the preys could do this as well, as a confusing tactic. I.e - the immunity prey attacking the snake, could bait a predator in the same room. So I was fine with the rules, but wouldn't mind doing a redo since not many people were able to strategize beforehand.
3) I think why I personally picked him, was because he made a mistake in the MM, as well as not reaching out to him. I only knew him by reading about season 1. I already build social connections with some of the people, but I didn't with Tom. I saw him as the biggest threat, and I was scared to play him in DM.
4) I don't think so. When Rexxy brought up the "Everyone but Henry room" remark to Henry(he was gone already) Tom may have felt that was rubbing a salt to henry's wound from Rexxy. In Rexxy's defense, he meant no harm. However, I think Tom read some of Rexxy's post and insight, and knew Rexxy is a very good social player. I think he also factored in the garnets, and he omitted those with one garnets.
5) I don't mind. Its a true psychological battle. I initially was going to just help Rexxy, but then I realize it wouldn't be fair to Tom who really didn't get to prepare for Main Match, and I didn't want to betray early game, so it was good for everyone to share the signs, and let these two outwit each other in the deathmatch. The betting rock paper scissors DM is a good psychological battle, having to predict what your opponent is thinking.
6) I was supporting Rexxy since I established a social connection with him. Scared of Tom, but I also wouldn't mind if Tom wins as well. His reputation of winning DM, I think he was fine heading into DM, his speciality and he had the confidence heading to DM.
7) Rexxy made a great move round 9 - rather than opting to play, he would bet. The score was 7 to 13, and I think Tom was a bit surprised by this move. He wasn't sure about what to play against the sign. Had he put a winning sign, the score would have been 11 to 11, with anyone to win it. But he couldn't read Rexxy on his betting, so he did make rexxy lose chips, but not a lot. Tom was in a predicament round 9, and that is what cost him the game unfortunately.
8) So far I won 2 MM. I think the next MM, I don't actually want to win. It might paint me as a target, and I actually need to help Joseph/Joshua win some garnets. I think I built TOO much social connections with everyone, and if I were going to try to win, it may require some betrayal, but my gameplay from early to mid game is to build trust. Its the mid-end game is where I have to do what it takes to win. Beautiful Defeats - Ugly Victories.
