Haha! thanks for reading till the end! Still trying to read through yours bit by bit! It is what it is. I bet with partners it'll be equally bad, since I was prepared to trust Joseph 100%. But I guess that was the best thing that could be done without guests. I was under the assumption no one would jeopardize his or her position to go for the DM (coming from someone who hasnt went to the DM before). So I thought that there's a fighting chance for me to leverage with both of you for me to get the point lead and win. This could be so for any MM, for someone to take a fall and have the liberty of picking someone for the DM, and you intend to do it for MM10 as well, so it is very well a viable, yet risky, strategy, just that it happens so close till the end and I didnt expect it

Was more puzzled by the fact that I was perceived as such a huge threat by you when you have similar records + social game. I believe you wouldnt lose to me in items distribution for finals

On my pregame thoughts topic, my plan was to build social bonds with people and gain trusts. I think both of us were trying to play the puppeteer role. I had no idea Joshua was that tight with you and Rexxy alliance. I now think about it - my best move may have been getting Rexxy to flip, and that was just a long social game relationship throughout the MM's. I hammered that in to Rexxy.
I attempted with Joshua, but with no response on it, I stopped and figured he was tight with you on MM6 end game. WIth Trevor, he told me in Mm4 he was the most closest with you, so I couldn't say much. It was in MM9 I started to talk to him about it vaguely, but MM10 is when I flat out told him. I thought Trevor would pick you based on our convo, but I knew he didn't have a good game relationship with Rexxy as well.
I think the downfall, was you winning to much MM. For example - MM8, Joshua/Trevor/Rexxy would not have picked you for DM. I felt had the detectives won - Arnold/Trevor would have gaven me token if they won. Joshua would have gave it to Rexxy possibly, and Rexxy seems like he would have given to me, but our excuse would have been he used random.org.
I can say for certain if you lost MM8, I would not have picked you. I was still upset about Joshua not trading with me in MM7, and would have picked him had I lost.

that wasnt my intention. Mainly I want to avoid DM's as much as possible. I wasnt trying to pull string so much but to reach out to multiple people and achieving a compromise among everyone to benefit me. I wanted someone to call my shots for me so I can act as a number and float far while letting someone else take the heat for me. I guess I went on a power trip along the way because I know with a huge target on my back, the best way to get me out of a DM is to actually win a MM. I guess my mistake is not being aware of that happening and getting myself more attached with Arnold When you told me that no one would pick me for the DM in MM8, I wasnt entirely convinced, since I already have such a huge target and high garnet counts. I was under the assumption that everyone maybe other than Arnold, Joshua, and to a lesser extent Rexxy would pick me, including you. I was equally shocked myself that Trevor didnt pick me for MM10, I guess he isnt that close with Rexxy. But I knew from the moment Rexxy gave you the token of life in MM9, I was ready to turn against you both, and hence I tried to work together with Trevor in MM10, thats the reason why I dived in with that 12 chips as an act of aggression against Rexxy. That's the issue with MM7, there is going to be a stalemate since every alliance is trying to hoard on to at least one of each resource. I got lucky because I had my alliance with Rexxy & Joshua, and that with Arnold, hence allowing me to get my steel more easily. Otherwise, no one is letting go of anything, so I dont blame anyone for hoarding. Joseph is really discrete with his bomb as well (and he's the only one who didnt tell me about his resources, but well, I kinda figured out by elimination)

About the flip, I honestly didn't think of it too much in MM 6. But when Ethy gave the token to Arnold in MM7 and there are a few deals between them that I wasn't aware of, I started to think that the alliance of Ethy, Joshua, and I isn't that exclusive and we're free to help anyone else. That's where I started to break away and was planning to cooperate with Kevin on catching Ethy in MM8, but at the same time keeping my relationship with Ethy. By MM10 that's where I started to focus on going against you and going all-in on MM11. Also by the thought of that I pretty much can't beat you in the finale since you have a really good social connection with everyone and the 8 straight wins would be a great resume for you to get almost all the items.

I guess the problem with my game is the fact that I tried to have deals with too many people, it kinda brought me far, but it ultimately bit me in the end. I thought my excuse at MM7 was good enough :/ but apparently not. I thought you'd be safe at MM7 since I thought you wont get picked by Joseph, but I was wrong. MM8 was weird since you're hunting down for me, yet I'm still trying to save you from the DM over Joshua because both of you went out too far . Also the issue also lie in the fact that most of the people I'm working with actually got far. So I have to juggle multiple relationships and make some moves that somehow benefited multiple parties. After Plat is gone, basically I'm 'aligned' with everyone I wonder how much of the volunteering to go to the DM in round 11 is Kevin's work. Obviously you volunteered to go to the DM on your own accord, but I wonder if you let Kevin get into you a little from MM8 to MM11. Especially since I was on the opposite side on MM8. I guess what my winning streak led to was the ever growing target on my back, and Kevin's shrunk significantly since MM 6. Honestly, I acknowledge you as a really strong player, I know working with you for MM would be good for us both since you have a sense about what to do. But I know that you are tough to beat in a 1v1 context and I'd really fear going to the end with you. But I wasnt going to turn against you, but would just prioritize my alliance with Arnold. Looking at my DM performance, how confident are you in beating me in the finals? xD

If I went F2 with you, here is what I thought the item distribution would break down: Henry: ?(Ethy via auto) Tom: Ethy Merriska: Kevin Jay: Kevin Lukas: Ethy Plat: Kevin Joseph: Kevin Joshua: Ethy Arnold: Ethy Trevor: Ethy Rexxy: Ethy High Garnet: Ethy Those items are a game changer. Bean Hordes, the Additional turn & Block Opponent was OP compared to my +2 bean count. I could make some marvelous play that gets 12 beans, and Rexxy could nope that with block opponent. The Item hunt - Getting 3 of those items, I felt way confident on winning with the advantage. However, with our speech, I think Trevor/Rexxy would have gaven me the items, and would have been even. Also wasn't sure about Jay's vote . I thought I'd get it over Rexxy. I pivoted him to target Lukas, and explained to him how Lukas is the reason he lost. Tried to help him in Killer vs Inspector, but overall it didn't pan out the way for him

I guess I could agree with those except Tom. Not sure if he liked my style of play or not. And I bet I lost alot of points for poorly handling MM 9-11. So it's kinda hard for me to pitch my case too. I have no idea how to go about it . I kinda had no room to pitch since you guys tried to shut me down at MM11 yea some of these items were pretty OP , I kinda feel bad that the +2 beans existed . Not sure about Jay myself, maybe he tried to make it fair / reward the better game player based on wins? idk for sure. But it all depends on who gets the OP items too , but based on items count, both of ours wouldn't be so far off I suppose, maybe I'd get 8-4 over Rexxy at best given the garnet lead. that's why I had the thought of whether you managed to outwit Rexxy along the way to throw it to send me to the DM, but that doesnt seem to be your main intention from the looks of it.
