So, now we have our 2 contenders for the Death Match.
ARNOLD and HENRY
Elimination is on the line in the Death Match.
The 1st Death Match is "Betting Rock, Paper, Scissors".
In "Betting Rock, Paper, Scissors", you will choose to play or bet on the result of "Rock, Paper, Scissors".
The player with more chips at the end of the game will be the winner.
This game will consists of 11 rounds.
Using random.org, the spectating players will be assigned a number to determine their round orders.
Once their orders has been determined, the spectating players will pick one of rock, paper or scissors and post in their Confessionals page before the Death Match starts. If a spectating player does not do it by the Death Match, I will choose a sign for them and publicly reveal it at the start of the Death Match.
The spectator's choices are locked in once the Death Match starts and your Confessional pages will be locked.
The two Death Match candidates will start with 1 chip each.
In each round, you will either play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" or bet on the result of the game.
The starting player will choose to bet or play. The following player will get the option that wasn't chosen.
In other words, if the starting player chose to play in Round 1, the following player must bet on the result.
The starting player for Round 1 will be decided by using Random.org.
Starting from Round 2, you will alternate turns as the starting player.
If you choose to play, you will have to play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" against the spectating player for that round.
After choosing a sign and posting it on their Confessional page, I will reveal on the game thread the sign the spectating player used and you will earn chips if you win the round.
In Rounds 1, 2 and 3, you will earn 1 chip.
In Rounds 4, 5 and 6, you will earn 2 chips.
In Rounds 7, 8 and 9, you will earn 3 chips.
In Rounds 10 and 11, you will earn 4 chips.
If you choose to bet, you must bet on the result on your Confessional's page.
When betting, you must bet at least 1 chip and decide whether your opponent will win, lose or draw.
You do not need to bet if you have no chips.
If you guessed the results of a win or a loss correctly, you will get double the amount of chips you bet.
If you were wrong, your chips is forfeited.
If it's a draw, you will get back the chips that you bet.
However if you bet on a draw correctly, you will get triple the amount of chips you bet.
If you were wrong, your chips is forfeited.
The player with less chips at the end of 11 rounds will be eliminated.
I need Arnold and Henry to decide on a common day and time to play this Death Match from now until Wed night based on my available timings. If we really can' find a common time, then it will be done non-live.
My free tiimings are:
Mon - 10 PM EST to 11 PM EST
Tue - 10 AM EST to 1 PM EST, 9 PM EST to 11 PM EST
Wed - 3 AM EST to 11 AM EST, 11 PM EST to 12 PM EST
If either player does not post on this thread within 24 hours, that player will be eliminated automatically and the garnet goes to the opponent. If neither posts, Arnold, as the loser of the Main Match, will be eliminated.
