So Lukas is active obviously and he's waiting a bit for the cards to appear first. Plat and jay haven't responded yet. Merriska has no plan but she'll probably be down for whatever. Is there anyone that you contacted with any ideas?
So the strategy is to basically trade cards with other players first while making sure to maximize scoring potential with nobles (while of course keeping one safe). This could probably be done one person at a time.
Then after we've traded or attempted to trade with all the non majority members, we evaluate our scores and pass around the convict card as before, as well as the noble card if needed. If done correctly, the convict card can be used last to give somebody three points and they just hold onto it for the rest of the game. The number of points gained will be the average score for the group + 6 with 6 being the least and 12 being the most.
The only problem with this strategy is that it relies on everyone being active. If people don't trade it can hurt the whole group. And if somebody you're trading with replies super late, it can compromise the whole group as well. It's high risk high reward.
So to be honest, I'm fine with a small alliance and just go with the flow and see what happens.

I'm not sure what is Lukas going to do, seems like he's waiting for the IDs to be revealled, then he decides who to work with.
I've talked to Rexxy, he seemed to be also interested in a small group kind of thing and he's trying to find other people already. Seems like everyone is starting to get into alliances already. By the way, I just realise commoners trading with nobles gave you one point only, I initially thought it was 2 points, is that still possible to get the 6 points that you mentioned? (thats unless we have criminal right?)
Rexxy was suggesting a more offensive role with the criminal card which we could use to pass it out of an alliance, and force that person to pass it away, that will shift the target away from us. Not exactly sure how it would work out.
Honestly I'm not that keen in getting a lot of points because that makes you a huge target, unless there is a sure way to win the MM, i think it is safer to play a little safer. I'll let you know the moment I got my ID and see how it goes.
Oh just letting you know, I may not be as active tomorrow because I'd be working tomorrow. the time when the ID were released I'd be free, but not so a little later. I'll be on mobile as well so I probably cant micromanage as much. If possible lets try to get something down by then..

I talked to Jay and he thinks the game is straightforward, so I'm not sure what he'll do yet.
My strategy works, it's just really risky and the more I think about it, the more I don't want to do it anymore. I'm fine with the small group thing and just getting enough points to be in the middle. I feel like the Death Match would be between the ones with almost no points or personal vendettas.
Worst case scenario we can just trade randomly with people and see how many points we get (but let's not do that haha).
That's totally fine, I should be free when the ID is released so we can quickly decide something and be good with that.

I guess let's play it safe then. I've gotten a Noble btw. We just stick to internal trading and hopefully we can get a few garnets from there.

I got commoner. I asked around a few people like Plat and Merriska what they got. Internal trading, maybe some outside trading at the end to try to get some points?

Idk how to go about doing this and who to work with. Rexxy has a group of 4 and he's trying to pull me in already. Not sure whether i want to take up that offer

I just found the convict, it's Merriska. Not entirely sure if she's lying or not, but my gut feeling is saying she isn't. I honestly have no idea what I want to do. Most likely, I'll just trade with people and try not to end up on the bottom.

Oh shoot! I just realized what you meant by using the convict as an offensive tool. I just noticed in the rules that whoever has the convict card last is the elimination candidate!

Ahhh okay thats good to hear. At least now we know where's the convict. Does Merriska know what she's gonna do with it?

Yepp, we can totally send someone to the DM with that, but that obviously would meant that we'll be in alot of trouble if they found out.

Not yet, I asked her to see if she has any plans but for now I don't think she has any ideas. I think I'm going to just trade with people and try to get points, and then have Merriska send out the convict card near the end maybe? I'm really not too sure anymore.

Hmm, what do you think about this, I'll agree with Rexxy and the rest to working with them, if you guys have issues getting rid of the convict card, I'll see what I can do with that.

I think for sure you should work with Rexxy. He hasn't contacted me, so I don't think that'll be an option for me this game. But if you have a group there and I somehow form a group here, then we'll be set since we'll be a part of two groups.
I think I should be fine with getting rid of the convict card. Who's going to be in Rexxy's group? If it's only around five people, there should be a bunch of floaters and I think they would be the best people to send the convict card to.

Ahh okay. As far as I know, Rexxy is trying to recruit Jay, Trevor, Lukas and Joshua as well. So with me it makes 5.
I guess there will be a third group somewhere with the rest of the people then.
At least now we would get the intel of both groups and we can notify one another of what the other group is planning. My priority this game is for us both to not get into the DM.

Yeah same, I'm trying to form a small group of me, Plat, Jay and Merriska. Use the group to get us three points each and then just sit back and watch the convict go around. I think I'll have Jay be the one to give out the convict, only because he's part of both groups and you guys might use it. I think with this plan, I'll be able to get a garnet, we'll both be in decent positions and as long as someone else gives that convict away, we both should be fine for the DM.
